Simone Biles and the American gymnasts are cheered on by celebrities as they WIN GOLD at the Olympics
Hollywood turned out in force to support Simone Biles and Team USA as they won the gold medal in the women's gymnastics team final on Tuesday at the Paris Olympics.
One of the most anticipated and hyped events of the XXXIII Olympiad, which aired live this morning on NBC and Peacock, was the intense battle at the Bercy Arena in the 12th district of the City of Light. This match drew a large audience.
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were on hand to cheer on the American quartet. Spike Lee, Natalie Portman and Serena Williams were equally passionate for the team in the arena. NBC's Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie also pumped their fists in excitement from the stands as Team USA defeated their rivals on the balance beam, uneven bars, vault and floor exercise — Biles' best event — in the competition.
