If someone had told Only Murders in the Building co-creator John Hoffman that Meryl Streep and Melissa McCarthy would get into a full-blown brawl in the series, they never would have believed you.
The thought itself sounds completely insane, but it actually happens in this week's new episode, "Valley of the Dolls," which is currently available to stream on Hulu. Streep's Loretta Durkin and McCarthy's character Doreen, Charles's sister (Steve Martin), duke it out in the suburbs, with the latter upset that her advances toward Oliver (Martin Short) don't work when the former shows up unannounced.
