Outlander Season 7 Part 2 First Look Photos and Outlander: Blood of My Blood First Look Photos
The news was revealed during Starz's Summer TCA presentation. As previously announced, Outlander: Blood of My Blood will follow the love stories of Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie's (Sam Heughan) parents across two different time periods. The 10-episode first season is currently in production in Scotland and will chronicle the romance of Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy) and Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) in the 18th century Scottish Highlands, as well as the love story of Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine) and Julia Moriston (Hermione Corfield) in World War I England.
In anticipation of the show's release, Starz has released four first-look photos of the two couples, who definitely bear a resemblance to their offspring. As fans can see in the photos below, Jamie may have his mother's red hair, but he's got his father's handsome looks. And Claire is an exact copy of her mother, sporting a similar haircut to Claire's looks from previous seasons on Outlander.
These parallel love stories are brought to life on screen by showrunner Matthew B. Roberts, who serves as an executive producer alongside Ronald D. Moore, Maril Davis, and Jim Kohlberg. As fans await the arrival of Blood of My Blood, they can tune in to Outlander Season 7, Part 2, premiering Friday, November 22, which continues the epic story of former World War II nurse Claire and Highland warrior Jamie Fraser as they return to Scotland after life in the American colonies.
