Starz has finally revealed the first photos from Outlander Season 7 Part 2, featuring the first glimpse of Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitríona Balfe) back in Scotland since Season 3. Young Ian (John Bell) and father Ian Murray (Steven Cree) and Lord John Grey (David Berry) also appear, along with a glimpse of Brianna (Sophie Skelton) and Roger's (Richard Rankin) time-traveling search for their kidnapped son, Jeremiah.
Outlander Season 7 Part 2 NEW DETAILS!
The new photos were part of Starz's Summer TCA presentation on Thursday, July 11. Outlander season 7, part 2 premieres on Friday, November 22 at 8 p.m. ET, marking the first time the popular costume drama has been set in Scotland since season 3 in 2017. Jamie and Claire are finally back in the land where they fell in love, but the chilling teaser trailer for Outlander season 7, part 2 (released on World Outlander Day, June 1) suggests that Jamie and Claire may be eager to return to the war zone in the American colonies as soon as possible.
Here's what Starz is teasing about the upcoming episodes: "Following the first half of Outlander Season 7, viewers will see Claire (Caitríona Balfe), Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Young Ian (John Bell) leave the colonies and arrive in their beloved homeland: Scotland. The dangers of the Revolutionary War force them to choose between supporting the ones they love and fighting for the country they've made their new home. Meanwhile, Roger (Richard Rankin) and Brianna (Sophie Skelton) must contend with new enemies across time and battle the forces that threaten to tear their family apart. As loyalties shift and painful secrets come to light, Jamie and Claire's marriage is tested like never before. With a love that binds them across oceans and centuries, can the MacKenzies and Frasers find their way back together?"
When we last saw these beloved characters, Jamie, Claire and Ian had arrived on the shores of Scotland, where they would soon be reunited with their Lallybroch family. Bri stayed behind at the renovated Lallybroch in the 1980s to care for daughter Amanda, while Roger set out to scour the stones at Craigh na Dun to rescue their son, who had been kidnapped by Rob Cameron (Chris Fulton) and transported back in time.
