Robredo, chairman and president of Angat Buhay, on Wednesday, July 31, together with education advocates, formed the Brigada Pabasa Partners Network.
A manifesto was signed by Angat Buhay, World Vision Philippines, Philippine Business for Education and Philippine Business for Social Progress to show their commitment to boosting literacy programs.
The “Brigada Pagbasa Partners Network” aims to mobilize private sector resources and civil society support to combat learning poverty. The goal is to mobilize one million literacy advocates to equip 10 million learners with the essential skills for a better future.
