Palm Royale — Official Trailer | Apple TV+
Whether you're watching the Roys' feud over their positions at Waystar Royco in Succession, the murder of the Usher children in The Fall of the House of Usher, or the struggle to rise to the top of Palm Royale's high society, television is a great way to see what being rich can look like in misery.
Below we list a few shows that make this point pretty clear. Did your favorites make the cut? Let us know in the comments.
It’s clear from the first season that there’s little love between the Roys, who are more concerned with their roles in the family’s multi-billion dollar conglomerate than the health of their own father, Logan (Brian Cox). While Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Shiv (Sarah Snook), Roman (Kieran Culkin), and Connor (Alan Ruck) have their sweet moments throughout the series, they’ve been completely ruined for life by the wealth their father has amassed through his career. While it’s devastating for them, it’s part of what made it so enjoyable for viewers at home.
