Paquin Entertainment Group, the production and talent agency that represents Michael Bublé and Bryan Adams, among others, has hired a former Cineflix executive as its first Chief Operating Officer.
Andrew Akman took on the newly created role last week and will help produce films and TV, exhibitions and large-scale events. Paquin said it is “currently in development for several talent-driven projects for broadcasters, streaming platforms and live audiences.”
Akman is a veteran of the TV industry, having held senior roles including COO at Cineflix Media, Shaw Media, Canwest Media and Alliance Atlantis Communications, and co-founded TV production company Husk Media.
