Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto apparently followed the example of his father, veteran comedian Vic Sotto, when he confronted protesters against his administration's proposed 9.6 billion peso city hall, with funny results.

Sotto on Monday (August 12) faced the protesters who gathered outside City Hall with tarpaulins in their hands to protest the infrastructure project. They claimed to be part of a group called “Save Pasig Org.”
When the mayor asked the protesters who among them were from Quezon City, most raised their hands and cheered.
Sotto said his board is transparent about the project. He also said he is willing to explain details about the costs to anyone who asks.
