The Dark, Disturbing Death of Eva Peron
Argentine auteur Paula Hernández, director of “The Sleepwalkers” and “Las siamesas,” is attached to direct and co-write the series project “Duarte. Evita behind the Icon,” produced by Buenos Aires-based powerhouse Kapow, the associate producer of the Fabula-Fremantle hit drama “La Jauría.”
“Duarte” is in development and is scheduled to begin filming in the second half of 2025. The series will consist of 5 episodes and 60 minutes, based on the early life of the legendary Eva Duarte – better known as Evita – the second wife of Argentine President Juan Domingo Perón.
“Duarte” is one of the projects participating in the Co-Production and Financing Forum 2024, which will take place in Madrid on October 1 and 2 as part of the fourth edition of the Iberseries & Platino Industria event.
