During a press conference on Sunday, August 4, Robles said the complaint against Maharlika has been filed in the Central District Court of California.
American lawyer Claire Vasquez, who represented Hollywood star Johnny Depp in his much-publicized defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard, is Robles' legal advisor.
Robles said he and his wife decided to file a lawsuit against Maharlika over what he described as the "malicious" allegations she made on YouTube.
