The Cast of 'Percy Jackson and the Olympics' on Growing Up on Screen and What's Coming in Season 2
Simons will have a recurring guest role in the Disney+ adaptation of the Rick Riordan book series, playing the role of Tantalus.
The character is described as "sarcastic, manipulative, openly hostile, and rarely in a good mood… as he is cursed with eternal hunger and thirst, yet can never eat or drink. Tantalus is released from prison in the Underworld to become interim Activities Director at Camp Half-Blood, replacing Chiron (Glynn Turman), who is suspected of having ties to Kronos."
Simons joins previously announced Season 2 cast members Sandra Bernhard, Kristen Schaal and Margaret Cho, who play the Grey Sisters, and Daniel Diemer, who plays Tyson. Walker Scobell returns as Percy alongside Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth and Aryan Simhadri as Grover, with several other cast members returning from Season 1.
