The Disney Plus series Percy Jackson and the Olympians has found an actor to play the popular character Tyson in season two.

During San Diego Comic Con, Rick Riordan and Disney Plus announced that Under the Bridge actor Daniel Demier will take on the role of Cyclops Tyson in the film adaptation of Riordan's Greek mythology-inspired young adult series.

Tyson is a young Cyclops who grew up all alone on the streets and struggles to survive in the human world. Shy and awkward, with a heart almost as big as his own, Tyson soon discovers that Poseidon is his father, which means Percy Jackson is his half-brother… and Tyson may finally have found a home.

Deimer currently stars in Hulu's Under the Bridge, which is based on the critically acclaimed book of the same name. He has also starred in Supercell, The Midnight Club and The Half of It.
