Comedian Perry Kurtz Dies at 73 … Killed in Hit-and-run
Perry Kurtz, a comedian who appeared on Season 8 of America's Got Talent and on The Late Late Show with James Corden, died Thursday in a hit-and-run accident in the Tarzana neighborhood of LA. He was 73.
His death was confirmed by the LA County Medical Examiner's Office. An official cause of death has been deferred pending an autopsy.
Perry was struck by a gray Honda Civic around 11:20 p.m. Thursday, according to police sources cited by TMZ. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
