PH, Mongolia to develop new areas of cooperation
Manalo explored possible cooperation in the areas of tourism, agriculture and English language training.
The visit, which marks the Philippines' first high-level engagement since diplomatic relations were established in 1973, coincided with the 50th anniversary of formal bilateral relations and underscored the shared values of freedom, democracy and the rule of law between the two nations.
In a meeting with Mongolian Foreign Minister Batmunkhn Battsetseg, Manalo expressed his gratitude for the hospitality and arrangements made during the visit. The two officials signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on sports cooperation, further strengthening their partnership.
