Los Angeles LGBT Center Opens First Facility in South LA
Phillip Picardi, Chief Strategy Officer of the Los Angeles LGBT Center, has left the organization after two years to take a position at Weight Watchers.
Picardi has been named Chief Impact Officer at the weight management company, focusing on building communities inside and outside of WeightWatchers. He will lead teams across brand marketing, communications, social impact and employee experience.
"I'm thrilled to join the WeightWatchers team at this revolutionary moment in weight health," Picardi tells Variety. "What excites me most about this opportunity is that community is at the heart of this company and its legacy, making us uniquely positioned to have meaningful, informed conversations about our bodies and the choices we make to care for them.
