New photos from the Matlock series premiere have emerged, giving a glimpse inside the law firm where Kathy Bates' title character works.

Inspired by the classic television series of the same name, Matlock follows brilliant septuagenarian Madeline "Matty" Matlock, who found success in her early years and decides to return to work at a prestigious law firm. She uses her humble demeanor and cunning tactics to win cases and expose corruption from within.

But abuses in the criminal justice system may not be the only thing she’s trying to root out. The Matlock trailer suggests that Matty is harboring a big secret. Could it involve her colleagues at the firm?

In addition to Bates, the series stars Beau Bridges, Jason Ritter, Skye P. Marshall, Eme Ikwuakor, Leah Lewis and David Del Rio. Nicole de Boer also guest stars in the pilot episode, which airs September 22 on CBS.
