Pitbull buys naming rights for FIU soccer stadium
Mister 305 does what he says.
Pitbull, a Miami native and an outspoken local fan, inked a deal Tuesday to put his name on Florida International University's 20,000-seat stadium.
Billed as the “world’s first athletic venue with an artist owning the naming rights,” the deal will pay FIU $6 million over what is widely reported to be five years. However, a statement from the school says the term is 10 years.
