PlayStation has officially confirmed the release of its next console: the PS5 Pro.

The device launches on November 7 and will retail for $699.99, compared to its predecessor, the PS5, which launched in November 2020 for $499, with a Digital Edition costing $399. Pre-orders begin on September 26.
PS5 chief architect Mark Cerny unveiled the updated device during PlayStation's livestreamed tech presentation on Tuesday, noting that specs compared to Sony's PS5 include a larger GPU, advanced ray tracing and AI-powered upscaling.
