The Bureau of Immigration (BI) is set to revoke the visas of all foreigners working for Philippine offshore gaming operators (POGOs).

The agency said BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco “will coordinate with the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) for the revocation of licenses issued to online gaming companies and their foreign employees.”
“As a result of the cancellation, the BI will also revoke the visas granted to the said foreigners,” the agency said.
During the State of the Nation Address (SONA) last Monday (July 22), President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. announced a total ban on POGOs in the country.
