Amazon’s highly anticipated TV series Poltergeist has officially found its showrunners. Variety reports that Kalinda Vazquez and Robbie Thompson have been tapped to lead the show.

The duo have officially come on board as writers, showrunners and executive producers, and will help develop the upcoming project from Amazon MGM Studios. The series, which was originally reported to be in the works last year, is still shrouded in mystery, but is said to be inspired by the legendary 1982 horror film of the same name.
Vazquez has worked in entertainment for over 20 years as a writer and producer. She is best known for her work on the hit Fox drama Prison Break and The CW spy series Nikita.
Thompson was a writer and co-executive producer on multiple seasons of Supernatural and was also the creator and showrunner on the prequel series The Winchesters. Thompson is a big name in the comic book world, having written multiple books for Marvel characters including Venom, Spider-Man, and more.
