FX president John Landgraf has spoken about the potential release date for The Bear Season 4, nearly a month after the acclaimed comedy-drama series premiered its third season.

This also comes after The Bear just scored 23 Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series for Jeremy Allen White, and Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series for Ayo Edebiri. Like the first two episodes, Season 3 still has a Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
During a recent interview, Landgraf confirmed that they still hope to release season 4 of The Bear in 2025, despite not being able to film the fourth installment right after season 3.
"We couldn't bring it back sooner because of all the movie projects that the actors are working on now. We started with a show with a team of great actors," Landgraf said (via Variety ). "Now we have a show with a team of movie stars. They have to go back for some of the production. And we haven't seen all the scripts yet. We've seen most of them, but not all of them. I would say one of the things I really like about The Bear , which I used to like about television, is the sense that things came back year after year."
