Qantas CEO apologizes on behalf of airline
Qantas Airways apologized to passengers on a recent flight from Sydney to Japan after airing the R-rated Christy Hall drama, which one passenger described as "40 minutes of penis and boobs."
"The film was clearly not suitable to run for the entire flight and we sincerely apologise to customers for this experience," a Qantas spokesperson told The Guardian. "All screens were switched to a family-friendly film for the remainder of the flight, which is our standard practice on the rare occasions where individual film selection is not possible. We are reviewing how the film was selected."
One disgruntled passenger took to social media to say he couldn't turn off the movie because the screen appeared locked until staff switched to another film.
