Tense relations: What happens behind closed doors with King Frederik of Denmark and Queen Mary
Queen Camilla has released her first documentary since her coronation. It is a documentary for ITV that raises awareness of domestic violence and abuse. The network has also commissioned a travelogue from Ant and Dec.
Her Majesty The Queen: Behind Closed Doors (working title) will feature interviews with victims of domestic violence and family members who have lost loved ones, as well as people working to end the violence.
She will host roundtable discussions with teenagers, celebrate International Women’s Day at Buckingham Palace and meet survivors who, had they not been in shelters, could have lost their lives. At the heart of the film will be the voices of survivors who want to break the wall of silence around domestic violence. The film will also explore why perpetrators abuse and ask how we can break the cycle of abuse.
