Fugitive religious leader Apollo Quiboloy deserves to have his assets frozen and be brought to justice, Senator Risa Hontiveros said Thursday.

Hontiveros said the Court of Appeals' asset freeze would hopefully hamper his ability to escape the charges against him.
“Earn. Dapat lang yan sa mga tulad ni Quiboloy na sukdulan ang kasakiman,” she said in a statement on August 8.
The senator issued the statement after the Court of Appeals (CA) issued an order granting the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) request to freeze the fugitive preacher's assets.
