Every revelation from Quiet on Set: The dark side of children's television
The creators of Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV say they are open to a sequel to the series, which today received two Emmy nominations, including for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series.
The five-part Investigation Discovery series documented alleged childhood abuse suffered by stars of Nickelodeon series, including The Amanda Show's Drake Bell and Raquel Lee Bolleau, All That's Shane Lyons, Katrina Johnson, Leon Frierson, All That's Giovonnie Samuels and Bryan Hearne, and Zoey 101's Alexa Nikolas.
“The response to the project has been overwhelming, surprising and gratifying,” executive producer Mary Robertson told Deadline. “It has certainly outpaced our expectations and it’s been particularly gratifying to see the response to the [series] evolve into calls for protection within the entertainment industry.”
