HBO has welcomed Gossip Girl alumnus Leighton Meester and social media star Quenlin Blackwell to Rachel Sennott’s HBO comedy pilot. Meester and Blackwell have been cast in guest roles. Further details about their respective characters are being kept under wraps.

“A group of codependent friends reunites and grapples with how time apart, their ambitions, and their new relationships have changed them,” the official logline reads.
The untitled half-hour comedy pilot will be written and executive produced by Sennott, who will also lead the cast. This is Sennott's latest collaboration with HBO, following his previous role in The Idol. The Bottoms star also stars Odessa A'zion, Jordan Firstman, Miles Robbins and True Whitaker. Lorene Scafaria has signed on to direct and produce the pilot, with Emma Barrie and Aida Rodgers also attached to serve as executive producers.
Meester is best known for her iconic role as Blair Waldorf on the Gossip Girl series, which aired for six seasons from 2007 to 2012. Her most recent TV project was a recurring appearance on Hulu's short-lived comedy spinoff How I Met Your Father. Meanwhile, the upcoming pilot will serve as Blackwell's acting debut, after she first gained recognition on social media. She currently has 9.8 million followers on TikTok.
