Comedian Ramy Youssef has signed a first-look deal with Netflix, expanding his relationship with the streamer as he pursues new projects.

According to a report from THR, the partnership will see Youssef develop and create "serialized projects" that Netflix can order first. Currently, no official projects or works have been announced, but Youssef and Netflix have had a strong relationship of late.
Youssef and Cairo Cowboy co-created the comedy-drama series Mo, currently available on Netflix. Youssef also co-created and will star in the comedy series Golf with Will Ferrell, with Youssef also serving as co-showrunner for the series.
The comedian is best known for his starring role in the Hulu comedy series Ramy, which he co-created with Ari Katcher and Ryan Welch. The series stars Youssef as a first-generation Muslim American and his journey through life in New Jersey.
