Rebel Wilson Fights Back! Files Counter-Sue Against Producers of 'The Deb' | Shocking Allegations!
It has been clear for months that Rebel Wilson would formally respond to the litigious producers of her film The Deb with her own lawsuit. And now she has.
Less than a week after the musical drama made its world premiere on the closing night of the Toronto Film Festival, Deb director Wilson and her attorney Bryan Freedman allege in a counter-complaint filed on September 26 that the Pitch Perfect star is "determined to fight not only for herself, but for The Deb and for all who have suffered in silence" under "producer Amanda Ghost's reprehensible actions over the years."
“At its core are three co-producers — Ghost, Cameron and Holden — who operated under the illusion that they could act at the expense of others with complete impunity,” according to Wilson’s nine-claim breach of contract lawsuit against Ghost and fellow Deb producers Gregor Cameron and Vince Holden.
