The Chinese drama Love's Rebellion from Xianxia, starring Zhang Linghe and Jing Tian, released episode 14 on August 8, 2024. Episode 14 focuses on Ji Yang (Zhang Linghe) who wants Nan Yan (Jing Tian) to forget him, for her own good.

In this episode, Nan Yan and Mu Zhan Ting encounter a group of immortals led by Elder Zhu. Zhan Ting wants to approach them, but Nan Yan stops him because they are outnumbered. Zhan Ting then uses a shapeshifting talisman given to him by a little fox to transform himself into Yin Ya. Meanwhile, Elder Zhu catches sight of Yin Ya and decides to interrogate him about the whereabouts of Shao Cang.

Yin Ya and Ji Yang summon the karma talisman and try to tame it. It screams and asks for help from the Seven Sins manual. Nan Yan, the host body of the manual, was wandering around nearby. The talisman enters her body and Nan Yan's body starts to transform into the Chongming bird.

The talisman summons the Yin Zhus and throws attacks at Ji Yang and Yin Ya. Its power is so strong that none of them can come near Nan Yan. But Ji Yang can sense the danger she is in and resists its power and slowly approaches Nan Yan. He eventually succeeds in breaking her spell and Nan Yan faints from exhaustion.
