Chinese office romance drama As Beautiful As You, starring Xu Kai and Tan Songyun, released its final episodes on July 23, 2024. As seen in the official trailer, the drama tells the love story of Ji Xing (Tan Songyun) and Han Ting (Xu Kai). Episode 38 focuses on Han Ting who is rushed to the hospital.

In this episode, Han Ting drives Ji Xing to her office. She tells her how lucky she is to have found such a sensible friend who always takes care of her. Meanwhile, Zhizhou calls her to deliver bad news. He tells her that one of their partner companies has terminated their contract with Xingchen and does not want to renew it. It is the only company that supplies tantalum, an important material needed for their work. As soon as Ji Xing hears the news, she decides to investigate.

Everyone at the company is working hard to solve the problem. Li Li calls around to find a supplier of raw materials, but fails. Fortunately, Ji Xing is able to find a supplier in time. Moreover, Han Ting helps Ji Xing find out who caused the termination of the contract. Later in the episode, Zhizhou takes Li Li out to lunch. He finally gathers enough courage to confess to her again.

Li Li remembers hearing some employees ridicule Zhizhou for being a hopeless romantic who doesn’t want to leave her. But just like the last time, Li Li rejects him because she doesn’t want to hold him back. But she praises him for becoming mature and responsible with time. On the other hand, Xiaomeng finally recognizes Lu Lin Jia’s love and accepts his proposal to be his girlfriend.
