Justice Sec. Jesus Crispin Remulla has backed President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s decision to close down all Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs) in the country.

“Once again, his statements and actions demonstrate the President’s determination to uphold the rule of law and protect the most vulnerable members of society,” the secretary said on Tuesday (July 23).
“Let us all work together with our president to make the nation more progressive than ever,” he added.
Marcos announced a ban on the controversial POGOs during his State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday (July 22) due to their links to criminal activities.
