Judge Sec. Jesus Crispin Remulla on Thursday (August 8) praised the decision of a San Fernando City, Pampanga court convicting former Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agent Jonathan Morales of perjury.

“May this be a reminder to all that the court is founded on truth and justice, where lies and untruths have no place as they undermine the credibility of our government in handling its cases,” Remulla said.
Remulla said the San Fernando Municipal Trial Court in Cities (MTCC), Division IV, issued an August 7 decision convicting Morales of perjury.
Morales was sentenced to four months in prison and a fine of P1,000.
