Judge Sec. Jesus Crispin Remulla on Thursday, August 8, welcomed the Court of Appeals’ order freezing the assets of Apollo Quiboloy, leader and founder of Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC).

"We commend the court's bold action in freezing the assets and curbing the financial power of fugitive Quiboloy, who has consistently made a mockery of the justice system by evading arrest and our courts," he said.
The CA ordered the freezing of Quiboloy's assets and properties, particularly the bank accounts of KOJC and Swara Sug Media Corporation, the operator of Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI).
