Two alleged members of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP-NPA) have been sentenced to prison terms after reaching a plea agreement with government prosecutors.
Remulla sees conviction of more errant drug agents
Judge Sec. Jesus Crispin Remulla said Tuesday (August 6) that Arnulfo Aumentado and Mary Joyce Lizada pleaded guilty to minor offenses thanks to the plea agreement.
They were convicted by the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 43 of Roxas, Mindoro Oriental for unauthorized licensing to carry firearms and ammunition outside residence and for illegal transfer/registration of firearms.
The RTC sentenced the two to one year in prison each for both offenses.
