According to Nielsen, viewership of the Republican National Convention rose slightly on the third night to 18 million, the night Senator J.D. Vance delivered his first speech as vice presidential nominee.

The audience is comparable to the 17.3 million viewers who watched the third night of the 2020 convention, when then-Vice President Mike Pence delivered a speech at Fort McHenry in Baltimore, Maryland.
The ratings are split across 12 networks, from 10:00 p.m. ET to 11:30 p.m. ET.
When Pence accepted his first nomination as Trump's running mate in 2016, the audience was 23.37 million.
