In November, Poland's Camerimage Film Festival is organizing a debut screening of Rust, as it says, in honor of the late Ukrainian camerawoman Halyna Hutchins.

Hutchins, who was born in neighboring Ukraine, was a regular at the cinematography-focused event. However, the screening has proven controversial among many of Hutchins' former colleagues, who question the appropriateness of Camerimage serving as a springboard for Alec Baldwin's controversial western.

“I am all for remembering Halyna and her beautiful work, but not by screening the film and promoting the film that took her life,” Oscar-nominated Black Panther DoP Rachel Morrison posted on Instagram under the festival’s official post announcing the screening.
