WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley has spoken out following Dominik Mysterio's betrayal at SummerSlam this past weekend. Ripley, who was set to challenge Liv Morgan for the WWE Women's World Title, lost the match due to Mysterio's interference.

In the match, Ripley initially took control. Instead of finishing the match, she chose to use a chair that Liv Morgan had attempted to use. Dominik Mysterio then pulled the chair out of Ripley's hands, reminding her of the risk of disqualification. This allowed Morgan to seize the advantage and land her Oblivion finisher. Despite this, Ripley managed to kick out, surprising Morgan.
In a surprise twist, Dominik Mysterio pushes the chair back into the ring, distracting the referee. Liv Morgan takes advantage of this and gives Ripley a second Oblivion on the chair to win the match and betray Mysterio's Mami at WWE SummerSlam.
After betraying his Mami at WWE SummerSlam, Dominik helps Morgan to his feet and kisses her as Ripley looks on. He places the Women's World Championship on Morgan's shoulder and puts his arm around her as they walk away together.
