Ridley Scott's Gladiator II arrives 24 years after the original film hit theaters, but fans of the saga may not have to wait long for the third installment.

The filmmaker has revealed that he has already begun writing the script for the potential Gladiator III.
“I've got eight pages already. I've got the beginnings of a really good footprint,” Scott told Total Film.
Scott also teased, "If there's a Gladiator 3, I don't think you'd ever go back to the arena. But I had to go back to the arena…"
