Senator Risa Hontiveros calls President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s decision to ban all Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs) a victory for the country.

“Isang napakalaking tagumpay ito para sa buong bansa,” she said in a statement on July 22.
“It is important that the map is displayed and that the map can be adapted to the POGO paglaganation to get bansa,” she added.
Meanwhile, Hontiveros assured that the Senate will also help find jobs for Filipinos displaced by the POGO ban.
