The film, which comes from Skydance, follows two American marketing executives who are fired for blowing a client’s sponsorship opportunity and decide to use their free tickets to a major soccer match. Their drunken debauchery causes them to be hunted by everyone in the country. The action comedy is written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese.
Producers include Skydance's David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger and Andrew Muscato, along with Wernick and Reese. Marc Fisher serves as executive producer.
The film marks the fourth collaboration between Amazon MGM and Skydance, following their sports drama Air, The Tomorrow War starring Chris Pratt and Without Remorse starring Michael B. Jordan. The film also reunites Farrelly with Amazon MGM after the comedy Ricky Stanicky starring Zac Efron, John Cena, Jermaine Fowler and Andrew Santino debuted on Prime Video in March.
