Rod Stewart canceled two shows on Friday after contracting Covid-19.

The 79-year-old "Maggie May" singer's management announced the news on his Instagram, writing, "We regret to announce that tonight's Rod Stewart concert in Stateline, NV and his August 10th concert in Lincoln, CA have been postponed as the singer continues to recover from a summer strain of COVID-19."

Ticket holders should retain their existing tickets, as they will remain valid for the rescheduled shows.
