Tom Rogers on Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery: Two Very Different Outcomes Based on Revenue
Warner Bros. Discovery's (WBD) lifestyle and factual channels will still switch networks in Canada.
Rogers Communications has confirmed in the past half hour that Discovery ID and Discovery will launch on January 1.
This comes after Rogers rival Bell and WBD confirmed they had buried the hatchet over the matter, while also expanding their HBO and Max content deals. That announcement did not make clear whether Rogers and WBD would continue as partners on the latter's lifestyle channel, though a representative indicated there would be no change.
