President Ferdinand Martin Romualdez has pledged to allocate funds for the construction and improvement of existing military barracks as part of the proposed 2025 national budget.

Romualdez made the pledge during his address to the troops at the headquarters of the Philippine Army's 11th Infantry Division at Camp Teodulfo Bautista in Busbus Village, Jolo, Sulu, last Thursday.
He was welcomed by Major General Ignatius Patrimonio and given an honorary title upon his arrival.
“We have to take care of the well-being of our soldiers – our officers and men. We have to provide them with comfortable housing,” Romualdez said during a meeting with Patrimonio and other officers about the 11th ID Site Development Plan.
