Wilson is widely regarded as one of the greatest quarterbacks of the modern era. He began his professional career with the Seattle Seahawks, where he played for 10 seasons. During his time in Seattle, he led the team to victory in Super Bowl XLVIII against the Denver Broncos. The Seahawks returned to the Super Bowl the following year in a nail-biting game against the New England Patriots.
Wilson has earned nine Pro Bowl selections in his career and has made eight postseason appearances to date. He began playing for the Broncos in 2022, then moved to the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2024. In recognition of his philanthropic impact, he received the 2020 NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year Award and the 2022 Bart Starr Award.
Along with his wife Ciara, Wilson founded Why Not You Productions, which focuses on both scripted and unscripted projects across film, television, and digital platforms. The couple also runs the Why Not You Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to motivating and empowering today’s youth. In March 2022, Wilson and Ciara released their first children’s book, “Why Not You,” which became a New York Times bestseller.
