He joins the previously announced cast of Rosario Dawson, Alexandra Shipp and Milla Jovovich. In addition to starring, Dawson also produced the film with Shipp and Jovovich serving as executive producers. The Joshua Otis Miller-directed production recently wrapped in Connecticut
Written by Lamont Magee and Jeff Byrd, Midnight follows a young, blind woman (Shipp) as she is hunted by a group of international criminals (Jovovich) who are searching for a package they believe was given to the woman by her sister (Dawson), a federal agent. However, the attackers soon realize that the woman, although she cannot see, may be far more dangerous than they expected.
Jordan Yale Levine and Jordan Beckerman are producing for Yale Productions in association with Dawson and Leah Elizabeth Rucinski, and Timothy Christian and Rab Butler of Night Fox Entertainment. David Gere, Chelsea Vale and Beth Bryant are also producing. Michael Day is co-producer.
