Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds Talk 'Deadpool & Wolverine'
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman had their hands full with the long-awaited superhero team-up in the MCU.
At the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere in New York on Monday, the duo told Deadline about the pressure to live up to fans' "sky-high" expectations to finally bring their characters together on the big screen.
"I think we both had such high expectations for the film," Jackman said. "So yeah, there's a risk because we wanted this to exceed those expectations, and both of those characters mean so much to us. Our friendship is one of the most important things in my life. So we wanted to be as great as we could, and luckily for me it surpassed all of them."
