President Ferdinand Martin Romualdez stressed the importance of ensuring that the proposed P6.352 trillion peso budget for 2025 sustains the country's economic growth and benefits all Filipinos.

“Malinaw has started to determine the budget after 2025. You can focus on the paglakas of the economy. It is worth being the Filipino pag-unlad. Patibayin ang mabuting pamamahala para sa kabutihan ng lahat,” Romualdez said.
Romualdez made the statement Monday during the start of the House Budget Committee's deliberations on the proposed budget.
“Is it possible to make a Hindi name in common Filipino? How come a lot of ekonomiya kung hindi ito mararamdaman ng mahihirap nating kababayan is?” he asked.
