The Samsung Galaxy Fit2 fits into a unique space in the world of smartwatches and fitness trackers. While smart features and deep stats are somewhat limited, this $60 device does offer the ability to automatically start and track a variety of workouts and stay connected with message notifications (and replies, with Android phones) and calendar reminders.

This lightweight wearable does just that while offering what few competing, more expensive wearables from big brands like Fitbit and Garmin can: easy 24/7 wearability and usability without breaking the bank. If you’re looking for a no-frills tracker that doesn’t break the bank or overwhelm you with too many features, the Fit2 is a great choice.

Like the previous model, the bracelet-style wearable’s band is ultra-thin to match its 1.1-inch 126×294 full-color AMOLED display, which has received a welcome upgrade: the screen is 6 inches longer and has a higher resolution. These improvements make the screen brighter and generally more intuitive to use. There’s a faint button outline along the bottom of the display, which makes navigating home or turning on the screen super simple and clear. There’s no fidgeting, mishaps, touch delays, or confusion between swipes and taps that was an issue I had with the first-gen Galaxy Fit.
