San Sebastian Festival announces line-up for Europe Latin America Co Production Forum
The Santiago International Film Festival (Sanfic) will celebrate its 20th edition from August 18 to 25, together with its slightly younger segment, Sanfic Industria, now in its 13th edition, at a time of reassuring growth trends in the audiovisual industry in Chile and Latin America.
Sanfic Industria, run by festival founder Gabriela Sandoval, is a platform that provides support and guidance to Ibero-American filmmakers and has grown with the latest developments in the entertainment world.
Sanfic XR, a sidebar dedicated to virtual, augmented and mixed reality experiences, is now in its third year, offering visitors the opportunity to explore cutting-edge extended reality projects from Chile, international premieres and works from national and Ibero-American XR labs. This edition expands the content and locations, now including tech center CRTIC alongside cultural center Matucana 100.
