At the end of Ghudchadi, when Menka and Veer were in the car together, she confessed a long-kept secret: Devika was not her biological daughter. Tragically, both Menka's husband and his first wife died in an accident, leaving behind a little girl named Devika. She, despite not being Devika's biological mother, raised her as her own from then on. She further clarified that Chirag and Devika were not really siblings with her marriage to Veer, but she did not have the courage to reveal this to Devika.

Their conversation took a tragic turn when a truck suddenly collided with their car, seriously injuring both Menka and Veer.
